Richard Thorburn, our Development Manager and former Wetheriggs team captain, presents a new strip to Wetheriggs United Football Club first team captain, Michael Yarker, ably assisted by our mascot (Connah Rutherford), prior to the opening game against Keswick. Unfortunately the result was a 1-3 reversal against last years champions and they look a force to be reckoned with again. The re-configured 'Riggs' look a promising outfit to be challenging for trophies once again. Come on the 'Riggs'
