Our peopleOur reputation is based on our people and we invest a great deal in training our staff and maintaining the professional standards that you expect from a quality business. We continue to increase the number of site personnel who hold the CSCS. We review and plan our training programme every year and hold the “Investor in People” status as a measure of our commitment to training and development. We also work hard to keep the feel of a smaller firm where everyone is part of the family. We recruit trainees locally each year and, in conjunction with the Construction Skills, we currently have several modern apprentices working with us while also training at local colleges for their professional craft qualifications. Recent sponsorships have included Penrith RUFC, the Pumas, a junior Rugby League team, Wetheriggs United FC and Penrith Amateur Boxing Club as well as donations towards the local Lions and Rotary Charity Golf Days, Penrith Savoyards, Penrith Players Theatre Group and local primary schools. “The lads were a pleasure to have around and got onwith the job in a very professional manner.”
