The Hopes, a development of 11 new timber framed affordable homes being built on behalf of Keswick Community Housing Trust due for completion late summer /early autumn 2013 was recently monitored by an experienced industry professional to assess their performance against the five-point Code of Considerate Practice.
Despite being in in a sensitive area within the community with restricted access, the site was well presented and the Considerate Constructors Scheme reported “good practice observed and set a generally high standard and especially pleasing is the care and consideration noted for the adjacent church yard.”
The site is performing well above the minimum requirements of the Scheme’s Code, and has undertaken a number of additional measures demonstrating that the site is performing to a very good standard with a thorough commitment to the Scheme’s Code which includes:- Enhancing the Appearance Respecting the Community Protecting the Environment Securing everyone's Safety Caring for the Workforce
Well done to Richard Thorburn, Steve Pickering and Team
