A team of ten employees are to tackle the 10 mile Total Warrior challenge to raise money for The Indee Rose Trust whose aim is to money to help children and their families who have been diagnosed with a brain or spinal tumor.
Total Warrior takes place Sunday 4th August at Shap Abbey and is the ultimate test of strength, stamina, mental determination and teamwork across Lake District terrain along with 25 punishing obstacles.
Organiser Martyn Currie said “We decided to undertake this challenge in aid of Indee Trust to help families and children similar to Megan Fawcett daughter of our work colleague Chris, as she received support and a ‘Treasure Box’, a box of treats created especially for her whilst receiving treatment which made a huge difference to her. The company has donated the entry fee and challenged us to match or exceed this in sponsorship, so our target is £1000.”
We would be very grateful of support no matter how large or small, this will go to help normal families who have to cope with effects of a child brain tumor and help us to keep children affected by childhood brain tumours smiling.
