Atkinson Building Contractors are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor to join an established and dynamic team based in Penrith, working across residential and commercial projects in and around Cumbria.
The Project Quantity Surveyor is competent in delivering projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. You will also be supported by junior members within the Quantity Surveying team.

Electrician
Are you an Electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity in the north of Cumbria?
We are looking for a skilled Electrician to undertake a variety of electrical tasks and projects, such as 1st and 2nd fix tasks, testing, commissioning, and wiring of air source heat pumps.
While experience is preferred, training can be provided for the right candidate.

We are looking for a General Operative to join our busy Atkinson Building Contractors team. The ideal candidate will have Telehandler experience and a full driving licence; however, this is not essential.
Work will include, but is not limited to, a wide variety of manual tasks on our current and upcoming schemes such as moving materials, assisting various trades as necessary and helping to keep sites organised, neat and tidy.
We offer excellent rates depending on experience, as well as long term and varied work.

Architectural Technician
We are looking for an 'Architectural Technician' to join our busy team!
Role will include working as part of our Development team to produce detailed drawings for upcoming projects and clients.
Experience using AutoCAD or a similar software is preferred but not esential.
Experience within construction is also preferred but not essential.
