Project Description:
A development of 6 new houses in the centre of Keswick built for sister company, Atkinson Homes on the site of the former Castlehead House Hotel. Adding to 3 existing new builds, the houses were designed in a sympathetic manner to blend in with the architectural style of the surrounding housing stock, using Westmorland Green Slates and traditional looking yet modern white render accented with local stone porches. Bi fold doors at the rear of the properties provide access to the rear of the properties which provide a private space ideal for outdoor and summer living.
5 of the 6 properties have been sold on a local-occupancy basis provided much needed housing for the inhabitants of Keswick and the surrounding areas. The site consists of 3 4-bed and 3 3-bed homes which are individually fitted out to the individual buyers’ requirements, with each property being set apart from its neighbours with different internal finishes.
