This was a project completed in two phases and was situated within the quaint village of Great Salkeld. The first phase was to remove an internal wall in the existing kitchen and make the space bigger, before installing a new larger kitchen with slate effect flooring and Velux windows in the roof.
The second phase required a fully tented scaffold being installed over part of the house. This was before the old roof slates and roof structure were moved to allow the house walls to be raised up enough to create a new habitable space with plenty of head height room. The new space consisted of a master bedroom, ensuite and office.
