Sedbergh Dental Practice

Atkinson Building Contractors fully refurbished an existing Spar store in the town centre of Sedbergh. Access was limited by the location of the property on a one way system within the town centre and no access to the rear to load and un-load materials. This was successfully overcome by limited the number of deliveries and planning them out of normal business hours, without any additional expense to the client.

The property having been a supermarket, the existing floor area was practically an open space throughout. The following works were primarily configuring the space into separate rooms, establishing clear and simple relationships.  Finishes and details created a welcoming and crisply resolved contemporary space. Both the functionality and appearance of the building as a whole have been greatly improved as a result and residential properties on the other three sides.

The works were completed to a high standard and the client was able to open on the planned date.
