Project In The Lakes

The works comprised of two separate elements, landscaping and improvements to outdoor area with lake frontage and construction of stone clad building within garden to accommodate hot tub, shower facility and storage area.

Improvements to the lakeside area included re-building of stone walls to re-form boundaries, as well as creating terraced areas to provide BBQ and sun lounge areas. Remote access to the site required transportation of plant and materials over the adjacent landowner’s property and reinstatement of temporary roadways.

The hot tub building required extensive breaking out of bed rock and diversion of surface water running off the adjacent hillside. Careful consideration was given to the choice of material for the stone cladding to  ensure that it matched the existing building
